Maymay Entrata turned 23 on Wednesday, May 6, 2020.
The actress received a birthday surprise from her friends and also got the chance to hold a mini celebration with her family.
The actress expressed her gratitude to her family, friends and fans for supporting her in her what-so-called “fairytale life”.
She shared some snapshots of her simple celebration at home since Metro Manila and other regions of the country are still under the enhanced community quarantine due to COVID-19 threat.
“Sobra ang pasasalamat ko sa Panginoon dahil ang hinihiling ko lang naman ay kung ano ‘yung sapat lang pero ang binibigay niya ay sobra at ‘yun ay isang kayamanan, kayamanang hindi nabibili at hindi napapalitan ng kahit ano at ito ang pagmamahal niyo sa akin,” she wrote.
“Sa mahal kong pamilya, kaibigan, at sumusuporta sa akin, isang napakalaking biyaya po na sinamahan niyo ako sa mala-fairytale na buhay kong ito na habang buhay kong dadalhin hanggang sa pagtanda ko. Buong puso na nagpapasalamat po ako at mahal ko po kayong lahat. ❤️” she added.
On Instagram, Entrata’s on-screen partner 19-year-old Edward Barber shared his message for the actress’s special day.
“Through all the chaos in the World, through all the joy and pain, all the storms brewing in our lives, you are a bright star of Hope,” he wrote.
“I know things didn’t go how you planned this time. But I know that won’t stop you from smiling. Your heart is full of God’s love, and he’s blessed you so you can be a blessing. And that’s what you are. God bless you always. Don’t forget that I have your back, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAY. And don’t forget that you are #GodsForeverPrincess,” he continued.
Entrata did reply, ““Thank you, Edward, andito lang din ako bilang isang kaibigan mo.
To recall, the two young stars came out with a joint statement last month clarifying the status of their relationship, saying there’s no need for them to rush into a romantic relationship and that they will continue being best friends.
Maymay Entrata started her showbiz career in 2017 when she won as a “Big Winner” in a popular reality show in the country, Pinoy Big Brother.
