In an Instagram Live session last Monday, Bea Alonzo teased John Lloyd Cruz about Sarah Geronimo as being his GL or Great Love.
On the show, Alonzo challenged Cruz to ask her random questions about himself so she could prove that they are really close friends.
Alonzo and Cruz have been co-workers and friends for 18 years now.
The iconic love team chatted online as if no one was watching.
Few of the questions Cruz asked were about his favorite color and movies.
Confident that she knows more about her longtime onscreen partner, Alonzo teased Cruz that she could actually name his first love or great love.
To keep Alonzo from revealing these details, Cruz said: “Hindi na, huwag na, okay na ‘yun. Huwag na, naniniwala na [akong marami kang alam sa akin]. Close tayo. Sobrang close natin.”
The two then playfully re-enacted memorable scenes from their projects together “Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay” and their blockbuster movie “One More Chance”.
Cruz suddenly dropped a line not from one of his projects with Alonzo but from his movie “A Very Special Love” with his other on-screen leading lady, Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo.
“I don’t get jealous. I’ve never been jealous. Ngayon lang!”
Alonzo answered, “Taray! Hindi ako kasama diyan. Ibang pelikula ‘yan. Nakakabuwisit. Hindi ako yun.”
The actor teasingly asked, “Why? Are you jelous?”
At that point, Alonzo couldn’t stop giggling and teasingly said: “Hindi no! Wala akong laban dun. GL (great love) ‘yun eh. Anong laban ko dun?”
Cruz laughed then faintly answered, “Hayop.”
Geronimo is now married to Matteo Guidicelli, while Cruz has a child with actress Ellen Adarna.
