“Love Thy Woman” star Kim Chiu still gets attacked by bashers after her viral “classroom” statement during the online protest on Facebook with her ABS-CBN co-stars last Sunday.
In the Laban kapamilya Facebook Live, the Kapamilya stars vent out their sentiments regarding the ABS-CBN shutdown.
Kim got controversial when she tried to compare the implementation of the National Telecommunications Commission’s (NTC) Cease and Desist order against ABS-CBN to a classroom scenario.
“Sa classroom, may batas. Bawal lumabas.
Because she failed to get her message across to her followers, the actress got into a series of bashing online, with many making memes and jokes about the actress’ logic.
The actress even topped Twitter’s local trending list.
The actress acknowledged the fact that she herself did not understand what she said during live session.
Kim apologized on her Instagram account, posting a photo of her self with ABS CBN’s Laban Kapamilya signature pose.
She also thanked netizens who kept track of the live online protest.
Thank you for choosing kindness, empathy and compassion!
She said it is the same way she can’t understand NTC’s Cease and Desist order to shut down ABS-CBN.
Kahit ano paman ang sabihin nyo OKAY LANG PO basta #LABANKAPAMILYA,” she added.
However, even after the actress made an apology, her bashers kept on bullying her.
On May 9, the actress uploaded a workout video on her Youtube account and her bashers went on bashing her again.
One of the commenters even said she hopes Kim get infected with the virus.
Despite the low blows, the actress remained calm in replying her bashers.
“Sinaktan ba kita? Para magsalita ka ng ganyan! Grabe ka naman!!!
“Preno preno din!”
Kim also replied to the other basher.
“Sa dami ng sinabi ko! Dalawang oras kami nag sasalita duon!
Among the other celebrities who took part in the online protest were Coco Martin, Judy Ann Santos, Bela Padilla and Cherry Pie Picache.
