Made of recycled waste
Starbucks Asia recently unveiled its brand-new merchandise line in collaboration with the popular lifestyle brand Herschel Supply and gosh, they ‘re beautiful!
Oh , did we also tell you that this limited edition merchandise line is made of 100 % recycled material from landfill sites?
Erin Silvoy, Starbucks Asia Pacific’s Vice President of Category and Marketing, said in a statement that Starbucks has always been a big fan of sustainability, and thus the Starbucks X Herschel Supply Designer collection was born.
“As part of these efforts, this exclusive collection is thoughtfully crafted for the eco-conscious customer on-the-go.
“Made from 100 percent recycled plastic bottles (PET), this collection diverts plastic from landfills and oceans, effectively giving these materials a second life as a stylish and convenient accessory for a sustainable lifestyle,”Silvoy said in a press release.

The collection includes a range of stylish bags made from recycled plastic and drinkware with bold colors and eye-catching messages focused mainly on sustainability.

Herschel Supply XL Backpack – Php 3,495
The bag pack features an eye catching orange zipper camo black and grey colorway. The utilitarian-like bag pack features easy-access pockets on top and bottom made of recycled plastic material and an air mesh back lining and strengthened foundation.
Herschel Supply Long Tote Bag – Php 1,595
The contemporary tote bag made of recycled plastic material features a hanging compartment with extended handles made of brown fabric that allow it to be worn comfortably on the shoulder. When you look closely you can see on the tote bag the words ‘Reuse and Recycle.’
