The famous actor John Lloyd Cruz who took a break from showbiz for almost two years recently appeared on Jobert Austria and Nonong Balinan’s online show streamed on the official Facebook page of ABS-CBN’s entertainment channel CineMo.
On the show, John Lloyd was asked what he was doing at the moment.
He replied while moving the camera to his sleeping son, “Nagpatulog ako ng baby.”
It seems like John Lloyd Cruz is all about fulfilling his daddy duties to his son with Ellen Adarna, Baby Elias Modesto.
The three co-stars of Home-Sweetie-Home basically talked about their lives amid the quarantine.
Although they were almost joking around throughout the show, John Lloyd Cruz suddenly asked a serious fatherhood question:
What’s the best way to get a baby to sleep?
Jobert jokingly answered to put a vaporub on the eyes of the baby.
“Well ang pinakamagandang pampatulog ng bata ayon sa isang kaibigan kong komedyante rin, walang ibang solusyon diyan kung hindi vaporub. Tulad ng ginagawa ng ating mga magulang, lagyan mo sa talukap ng mga mata. Iiyak nang konti ‘yan tapos sasabihin sa iyo ‘I cannot see.’ Sabihin mo ‘you cannot see but you can sleep.’ Unti-unti siyang matutulog. Hihipan mo, tapos sabihin mo sa kanya, ‘Anak, sorry mahal kita pero kailangan mong matulog.’ said Jobert.
At the end of the interview, John Lloyd was asked by the two hosts to give a message to all the frontliners who are tirelessly working amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Walang hanggang pasasalamat sa lakas ng loob niyo at tibay ng damdamin. Talagang kayo ang nagtatawid sa napakaraming tao. Lahat ng tao sa buong mundo kayo ang inaasahan. Kaya maraming-maraming salamat. Kulang ang lifetime na ito para mapasalamatan kayo nang buong-buo,” the actor said.
