Foreigners and Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) can now leave the Philippines anytime from any Luzon port for the duration of the enhanced community quarantine but with certain conditions.
OFWs and Balikbayans need to provide proof of international travel itinerary schedule within 24 hours, Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles said.
He also noted that travel would still be subjected to restrictions already place in the country.
Outbound movement to countries where travel restrictions are imposed due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic is still prohibited during the quarantine.
Departing passengers may only be accompanied by not more than one person when travelling to any international airport.
Filipinos leaving the country for travel purposes shall be suspended.
OFWs who are returning to the country and intending to leave abroad, will be given transport services by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Nograles assured.
Meanwhile, flights for the evacuation of stranded foreigners will not be obstructed.
President Rodrigo Duterte has recently placed the entire country under a state of calamity.
Philippines have recorded 202 cases including 17 deaths related to COVID-19.
