If you’re a Starbucks fan who religiously collects their awesome Starbucks Rewards, you may need to bid farewell to its Starbucks Card because it will be deactivated by June 30.
The coffee giant made this announcement on their website.
But don’t worry, they hinted that this will be done to give way to a new and better program.
“We’re always listening to our customers and looking for ways to make your Starbucks Experience better. The new Starbucks Rewards will give way to a better program fit to your ever-changing needs.” they wrote on their site.
“This change means that we’re preparing a new program to combine the things you love about My Starbucks Rewards and exciting new benefits,” they added.
You can use your current benefits on or before June 30 and balance will be available as store credit or it can be refunded once the new program is launched.
As to what the new Starbucks program will be, the Starbucks Philippines website is hinting that it will be a combination of the Starbucks Reward plus more benefits!
Starbucks will be releasing more details soon on their website or its mobile application.
While we patiently wait for more information on the new, Starbucks does encourage you to use up your balance before June 30.
