Mobile-based food delivery companies will continue their services in light of the enhanced quarantine in the province of Cebu.
The Cebu City lockdown begins at 12 noon on Saturday, March 28, 2020; Lapu-Lapu City at 12:01 a.m. Sunday, March 29; Talisay City, Mandaue City and the rest of Cebu Province on Monday, March 30 at 12:01 a.m.
The announcement of lockdown made the consumers to endure long lines outside supermarkets and grocery stores to buy all their needs which they call it “panic buying”.
Is panic buying necessary?
There is no need to do panic buying as food stores, supermarkets, and groceries will still be open until 8pm.
And food delivery services will still continue to be available.

1. Foodpanda
Food panda released a statement on Facebook that they will continue to operate as allowed by the Department of Trade and Industry or DTI. No foodpanda yet? Download the app to get P100.00 off your next meal if you order at foodpanda!
2. GrabFood
GrabFood announced a temporary service shutdown on Tuesday morning March 17.
By 1:30 pm on on the same day, GrabFood suddenly announced its resumed operations.
3. Jollibee Delivery
Order your langhap-sarap favorites from the following Jollibee delivery stores in Cebu City! Placing orders are anytime from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm only.
4. Greenwich
One outlet is still currently operating their delivery service in Cebu City.
Other Greenwhich outlet are available through GrabFood and Foodpanda app delivery.
5. Chowking
Selected Chowking branches still open exclusively for Take Out, Drive Thru, and Delivery services.

6. KFC

6. McDonald’s

Delivery services has taken precautionary sanitation measures for both the customer’s and rider’s safety. A no-contact delivery system is also in place. If possible, don’t forget to tip your delivery riders!
Customers are encouraged to switch to online payment modes to reduce physical contact, among other safety measures.
